Organized and curated “Artifacts & Ideas for a Nature Inspired Architecture” at The Chicago Mosaic School Gallery, with guest California artist James Hubbell and seven other artists. (Read the article by Jeff Huebner in Chicago Art Magazine)

Commission for the chapel of Via Christi Health, Wichita, KS.

“Archetype & Invention,” first ever major gallery exhibition of works including stained glass, mosaics, metals, and assorted architectural vignettes; at CMS Gallery; venue shared by John Hatlestad, Illinois sculptor and furniture artist.

Wrote “A Renaissance of Ornament in Architecture,” published by Friends of Kebyar in the Art and Architecture issue. This essay was reprinted by Glass Art, Sept/Oct, 2009.

Work & friendship with celebrated Chicago artist Edgar Miller (1899–1993). Fabrication of at least 26 Miller stained glass projects. Research and photography of hundreds of Edgar Miller artworks. Essays published in 1987, 2006, 2008, and 2009.
