Original Art
From the very beginning of my interest in stained glass, I accepted it as an opportunity to create new art for architecture. We are living in a unique time – the age of Postmodernism. Today, modern design, much like Gothic, Classical, Art Deco or Victorian, is a historical style. Much of the demand for architectural art is for environments that have a historical tone. I advocate new architectural art that is sympathetic with the line, pattern and color of the architecture for which it is intended. My original designs for stained glass are at times vividly colored or monochromatic; linearly geometric or sensually appointed with the many visual qualities that make architectural art appropriate for the environment for which is made.
